Request for Proposals: Comprehensive Study of Emergency Medical Services

The Scott County Health Department is accepting proposals that will enable the Scott County Health Department to select the most qualified emergency medical services (EMS) consulting firm to complete a study of EMS within the municipalities and unincorporated areas of Scott County and to make recommendations for the EMS system that are consistent with Iowa Code and Iowa Administrative Code. Proposals are due to the Health Department no later than 4:00 P.M. on June 19, 2013. Early Bird Season Swim Passes Available!

Purchase your swim pass from April 20th through May 19th at the Early Bird rates of $90 Family; $40 Adult; Child $35. They are available at Scott County Park's Entry Station and at West Lake Park's Campground office. Your pass can be used at both the Scott County Park pool and West Lake Park beach. After May 19th swim pass rates will be $100 Family; $50 Adult; $45 Child.

Campground at Buffalo Shores Opening May 16th 6am

The Scott County Conservation Board is pleased to announce that the campground at Buffalo Shores will be opening at 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 16^th for camping. The river front row will remain closed for an indefinite period due to high water conditions. A very limited amount of beach is available. The docks at the boat ramp are not in and will remain out until water conditions permit. Thank you for your patience and please call 563-328-3281 ext 1 if you would like further information.

Heritage Days - Memorial Day Weekend

Sunday & Monday, May 26 & 27, 2013: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Begin your summer at our Pioneer Village Heritage Days. Enjoy old world craft demonstrations, Wapsi Wrangler "shoot-out" skits, and old time music in the gazebo. There will be food, ice cream and kids crafts plus so much more!
